After pitching a business plan to a panel of investors, my business partner and I thought it would be a good idea to make a video explaining our idea to the masses. The first part of the video is brand essence pitch for The Day in Art. My business partner and I shot a sequence of artists in slow motion performing, designing, and creating at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, MI. The second demo is a motion graphics demo I animated showing how the site will function. Because the actual use of the site would not translate well to a video, I abstracted certain details to better showcase functionality in video form. Our target audience here is the artist, as good artwork is the foundation of the site. We identified what artists seek in displaying their work, and addressed those points in the video.
